Randkunst was founded in 2003 as an own brand of Lebenshilfe Graz und Umgebung Voitsberg. On the one hand, to make art known off the beaten track, and on the other hand, to accompany talented people with intellectual disabilities in the realisation of their creative visions.

In the two painting studios in Lieboch and Graz, the artists are supported in developing their very own style and fully exploiting their potential.
Currently, the painting workshop in Graz employs 6 artists who artistically translate their own approach to the outside world.
Supported by trained educators and artists, acrylic and watercolour techniques, as well as numerous other graphic design methods, are incorporated into the work process. The motifs range from figurative to abstract, the emotional approach from melancholy to light-footed.

The artists’ works are regularly presented at various exhibitions in Austria and abroad and can be purchased there on site or directly at the Anzengrubergasse painting studio.
